The cork material features a closed-pore structure, which makes it a good insulating material. Cork is also non-flammable. Due to these properties, cork material is excellent natural insulator. As cork does not absorb moisture or dust, it is hygienic.
The cork material is especially easy to cut to size and to stamp.
